Registration for Guests and Pre-Conference Activities for the 32nd AAIA Annual Conference

Event Description

As an in-person registrant to the 32nd Annual AAIA Conference in Orlando, Florida, you can register guests to join you at certain conference events.  Additionally, you can register yourself and/or your guest(s) to one of two pre-conference activities.

Described below are the various activities available for you and/or your guest to attend.  To register, there is a link at the bottom of the page.

 

CONFERENCE EVENTS FOR GUESTS

 

 

Sunday Night Welcome Reception,
Monday Night Networking Event, and/or
Tuesday Night Networking Dinner

 

You can invite your guests to join you at the Sunday Night Welcome Reception that will be held at the Wyndham Grand Resort Bonnet Creek on the 12th floor, in the Expedition Room, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, where drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served while overlooking the view.

On Monday, June 27, 2022, Plante Moran is hosting drinks and food at Tesoro Cove at the Conference Hotel located on the first floor from 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. 

In addition, your guests can join you at the Tuesday Night Networking Dinner that will be at the Hard Rock Cafe from 7:30-10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.    Dinner, drinks, and music will be enjoyed while viewing rock and roll memorabilia on the John Lennon Terrace.  Transportation will be provided by motor coach.
 

To attend the Sunday Night Welcome Reception ($50/guest), Monday Night Networking Event ($50/guest), or
the Tuesday Night Networking Dinner ($100/guest);
Or, to attend all 3 events is discounted to $175/guest.

     
Fees for ​Guests aged 4 to 20 will be reduced by 15%.
Children 3 and under are free. 

 

PRE-CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES FOR ATTENDEES AND GUESTS

The following pre-conference activities are available for in-person attendees and their guests.
 

 

Golf Outing - Sunday, June 26, 2022*

Hawk's Landing Golf Club spans over 220 acres of lush ground at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort.  It is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by noted golf architect Robert Cupp Jr. to create the perfect setting for challenging golf and a scenic blend of native Florida wildlife and tropical vegetation.
 
Tee times have been reserved for Sunday, June 26 from 8:00 a.m. Registrants need to leave the hotel by 7:15 a.m. and should return to the hotel about 1:00 p.m.  The golf course is just 4 miles from the conference hotel and transportation will be provided.

To rent golf clubs, please call the Hawk's Landing Golf Club directly at (407) 238-8660, Option 5, to reserve and pay for your set, if needed.  The AAIA will not collect payment during the reservation process for the rental of golf clubs.

The per person fee provides transportation, greens fees, range balls, golf cart, and taxes.  The purchase of souvenirs, lunch and drinks are not included.

Note: this is a venue change from the Waldorf-Astoria Golf Club, that is closing 9 holes for renovations.

HAWK'S LANDING GOLF CLUB

 

 

Only in Florida - Visit Gatorland on Sunday, June 26, 2022*

Enjoy a family-friendly day at Gatorland, Alligator Capital of the World, where you’ll be able to view a variety of animals and reptiles native to Florida, take in exciting shows, and experience some of the lush Orlando landscape.  AAIA has secured discounted group rate tickets for admittance to the 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve.  Participants will also enjoy a private, 45-minute animal encounter experience arranged exclusively for the AAIA group.  Round trip transportation and a lunch voucher are included.   Visit www.gatorland.com for more information about shows, zip lines, and off-road adventures you can enjoy while at the park (where reservations may be required and fees are separate from this package).

Registrants will be provided round trip transportation from the conference hotel to Gatorland located about 11 miles from the Conference Hotel or about a 30 minute drive.  Registrants will leave the hotel at 9:30 a.m. and will depart Gatorland about 4:00 p.m.

Fees are for round trip transportation, entrance to the park, 45-minute animal encounter, and a lunch voucher.
Fees $65/adult and $50/child (aged 3-12 years)
(under 3 years of age are free, but no lunch voucher)

*A minimum number of attendees is required for each pre-conference activity; otherwise, it may be canceled.  In the event of cancelation, any payments already collected will be fully refunded.   Be prepared for rain, that is common this time of year in Florida.
