Conferences & Events

The Association of Airport Internal Auditors (AAIA) had its first conference in 1990 in Orlando, Florida, and, through 2019, hosted 30 consecutive conferences that have met the needs and interests of Airport Internal Auditors. Then the COVID-19 Pandemic struck and the 31st Annual Conference was rescheduled from June 2020 to September 2021 in Clearwater, Florida, and was hosted by Tampa International Airport.
Most recently, the 33rd Annual Conference was held during May 2023. The conference was hosted by Salt Lake City International Airport.

The 34th AAIA Annual Conference will be hosted by the San Antonio International Airport in San Antonio, Texas. More information will be posted to the website as it becomes available!

Want to Host a Conference at YOUR Airport?
Airports that host an AAIA Conference generate an economic benefit for their community, have the opportunity to showcase their region and their airport, and provide low cost professional development and networking opportunities for their staff.
